The Coffs Coast Fly Fishing Club was founded in 2016 to promote participation in fly fishing for locals and visitors to the Mid North Coast and Tablelands of NSW. Visitors are most welcome and membership is encouraged from anyone interested in fly fishing. The club aims to:

- To promote fly fishing in fresh and saltwater
- To share knowledge and skills
- To be a friendly non–competitive club
- To arrange meetings and outings for members
- To provide tuition in casting and fly tying
- To look after the places fish live
- To promote responsible fishing practices including catch and release
- To engage in fundraising activities for the benefit of the club
- To develop ongoing relationships with other fishing clubs
