Code of ConductMembership of the Coffs Coast Fly Fishing Club Inc. have rights and responsibilities. These form the basis of our Code of Conduct which is agreed to by signing the membership form.

Breaches of this Code of Conduct:
Any member not behaving in accordance with the terms of the Code of Conduct may be subject to disciplinary action.
Members of the Executive, or event co-ordinators, can warn an offender that they are in breach of club rules. Failure to comply could result in a request to rectify the situation, a verbal warning or being asked to leave the activity. Continued non-compliance will be investigated by the Executive and an appropriate course of action will be taken which may include a written warning, suspension or revocation of membership.
Rights:
- Members have a right to be treated fairly, equally and with respect by everyone in the Club.
- Members have a right to be free from all forms of harassment and discrimination.
- Members have a right to be informed of all Club events and activities.
- Members have a right to voice their opinions, requirements and suggestions on the conduct of the club through the Committee.
Responsibilities:
- A member should respect the rights of each and every person in the Club and the people with whom the Club interacts.
- Members should not physically or verbally harass others.
- A member shall not behave in a manner that adversely affects the reputation of the Club.
- A member shall not share any confidential information or disclose information about Club members to non-members, outside agencies, or commercial enterprises in any form.
- Members have a responsibility to treat other members, guests, and people with whom the club interacts, with fairness, courtesy, mutual respect and appreciation for diversity.
- Members have a responsibility to be legally responsible/compliant by following all fishing and licensing regulations and requirements.
- Members have a responsibility to conduct themselves in a manner which will not harm, cause embarrassment or injure the reputation of the Club.
- Members have a responsibility to publicize the Club in a positive manner and seek consent from other members before their videos, pictures and other media are posted on social media and in print.
- Members must co-operate with trip conveners and register and sign in for all club events if they are to be covered by club public risk insurance.
- Members should notify the Secretary of any changes to address, phone number, emergency contact, or other pertinent information.
